Katherine Davis
Costume Designer and Technician
Katherine is based out of Kansas City where she is currently working on opening her own costume shop. For the past two years, she was the Costume Shop Manager at Texas Tech University, where she enjoyed teaching students of all levels. Katherine has an MFA in Costume Design and Technology at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. She received her BFA in Theatrical Production and Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. She was also able to spend a semester abroad studying and interning in London at The Space Theatre.
Her recent designs include Sonnets for an Old Century (TTU-SOTD), Frida… a Self-Portrait (KC REP), Dracula; A Song of Love and Death (UMKC Theatre and KCAT), Brother Toad (OriginKC; New Works Festival), Men on Boats (Unicorn Theatre), Rodelinda (UMKC Conservatory Opera) and more.
Katherine enjoys Millinery and exploring new fields of crafting and art. When not designing, she loves to travel and learn about other cultures.
